As weird as it seems, spring break is about two weeks away! Here are the plans! Nick, Maggie, Azriel, Michelle, and I are renting a car and doing the Garden Route!
Monday September 5th
5:00am get car
6:00 head to Knysna – takes about 5 hours
1:00pm get to Knysna
· 12:30 Mitchell’s Brewery – lunch and drinks (2 hours) – (10:30, 12:30 and 2:30)
· Do elephants before 4:45pm
3:00pm Elephant Park (2 hours) –minutes away
Drive to Plattenburg Bay – 30 minutes
Sleep in Plattenburg - Starling Backpackers

Tuesday September 6
Wake up and go to Roberg Nature Reserve (open 7 to 5) –
· 2 or 4 hour hike
· 10:00am if 2 hour – 9:00am if 4 hour hike
Drive to Crags – 35 minutes
· 2:00pm Mokeyland and Birds of Eden– 3hours
Sleep in Tsitsikamma –Dijembe Backpackers
Wednesday September 7th
Wake up and do Face Adrenaline Bungee! Open at 9:00 – 20 minutes away –
· Takes 2 hours
Canopy Tour – 20 minutes away
Drive to Port Elizabeth – 2 hours away
Dinner and sleep in Port Elizabeth
Sleep at Kings Beach Backpackers
Thursday September 8th
Wake up and drive to the Addo Elephant Park – 2 hours
Go to the Park –– all day thing
Drive to Oudtshroon – 4 hours
Sleep at Oudstroon at Karoo Soul Backpackers
Friday September 9th
Wake up and go to Gays Dairy
Go to Gays Dairy
Cango Caves –lasts an hour – 40 minutes away from Gays
Cango Wildlife Ranch –to pet a cheetah) – lasts an hour (open from 8am to 4:30) – 30 minutes from the Caves
Drive to 2 ½ hours to Barrydale – Ronnies Sex Shop ( This is a bar, not a sex shop.)
Drive an hour to Montagu to sleep
Sleep at Koo Karoo Guest Lodge -
Sautrday September 10th
Go to Farmers Market near the church
Look for hot springs in the area
Drive home! – 2 ½ hours to Mowbray!
